Popular Childrens Toys
Popular childrens toys can cause problems, so to speak.
No, popular childrens toys cannot necessarily cause real problems, but
they can cause a lot of frantic parents and upset children. How so?
It seems that almost every year, especially around Christmas, there
is a most popular childrens toy, a must-have. Children want the toy,
and parents will do almost anything to get it. The problem is, because
of the high demand of the popular childrens toy, the shelves quickly
empty of it, and many parents are forced to pay high prices in dirty
alleys (ok, so that is an exaggeration) just to get the popular childrens
toy.
Think back to the Tickle Me Elmo fad in 1996 – parents paid upwards
of $1000 for this popular childrens toy that normally fetched around
$30. Furbys in 1998 were another such popular childrens toy –
a must-have for the season, a toy that quickly sold out at stores and
caused quite a commotion.
