Toy soldiers
 When
you purchase toy soldiers for your
kids—there are many different types of toy soldiers to choose
from. Make sure that the toy soldiers and any of their accessories
are not too small for the child. If the pieces are too small, there
are toy soldiers that come in bigger sizes and are more appropriate
for smaller children.
As always, remember to keep safety first and check the suggested
age group on the box of toy soldiers you purchase to be sure that
the toy soldiers as well as all of their accessories are safe for
your child to play with. There have almost always been toy soldiers—as
far back as I know.
Some of the most popular toys on the market are toy soldiers, they
are often relatively inexpensive and they can entertain a child
for hours. However, once again, I believe that it is more important
to help children distinguish between pretend violence and actual
violence. When a child is old enough to understand—the emphasis
of the purpose of a soldier should be explained to him or her—that
shooting at people is not always a heroic thing to do.
